As you hopefully know by now, Autodesk University is a yearly event that is a premier learning and networking destination for AECO professionals worldwide. We were thrilled to both exhibit and speak at AU this year and connect with our outstanding colleagues, friends, and customers for the first time in 5 years.
When team UNIFI arrived at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center, there was some idea of what to expect, but as usual, Autodesk University blew the team away. 
Every day was a different experience with breaking-edge technology and intellectual talks featuring critical players in the AECO industry (including UNIFI’s own Dan Reid).
Some key events that took place during AU were the Autodesk Excellence Awards, Tech Trends: The Promise of Platform and Digital Transformation for People and the Planets, the daily classes that helped transform your team with the newest industry knowledge and trends, and the session were the Autodesk President, and CEO Andrew Anagnost spoke on how moving collaboration—and our data—to the cloud can help create the right solutions. Watching the speakers go over each topic made everyone in the room open their mouths with awe as they all took in new knowledge and technology.
Beyond that, the show floor was a huge hit full of bright minds and awesome solutions that have revolutionized.
UNIFI’s booth quickly became known as the booth to stop by as we were offering demos that featured our soon-to-be-released cutting-edge V4 software (more details to come 😉) and the fact that we were hosting a $200 Door Dash gift card giveaway. Having eight of the UNIFI team members at the booth still wasn’t enough to handle the crowd, so UNIFI brought in the leadership team to help. The whole team was ecstatic to see not just prospects but customers from leading AECO firms such as MG2, PCL Construction, SSOE, and many more stop by. Journeying with our customers is what we’re all about, so the opportunity to see them face to face was one of our greatest highlights.
We wrapped up AU with a panel discussion featuring UNIFI’s CTO Dan Reid. The audience was full of current 
customers, prospects, and attendees interested in learning about the cutting-edge technology in Autodesk’s app store. Dan was grateful for the opportunity to discuss UNIFI today and what the near future holds. We asked an audience member for feedback on the talk and were thrilled to hear, “I was on the edge of my seats, and confident in where UNIFI is headed.”
Our wonderful experience at Autodesk University this year reinforces that it is an absolute must to attend if you are in the industry. Thank you to Autodesk and our wonderful customers and colleagues for making Autodesk University 2022 a huge success.
