Yes. Any customizations or content uploaded to UNIFI from the trial will automatically transfer after you purchase.

There’s no limit to the number of libraries you can create.  We suggest creating separate libraries based on how you want to manage user permissions.  Our saved search feature can be used to create custom groups of content based on use case.

It is recommended to have a large “user” base and smaller “admin” base as this will mitigate users having rights to delete content or upload content without it passing your internal QA procedures. We recommend designating each member of your BIM Admin team as an “Admin”, as well as potentially some of your Revit power users, and keeping the rest of your user base with user access.

Anything!  UNIFI supports multi-format – so if you can save it as a file, you can store, search and find it on UNIFI.  That includes Revit, Bentley, SketchUp, AutoCAD, jpg, pdf, doc, xls, even movies.

Yes, you will have access to all analytics within the UNIFI desktop application and advanced analytics in the UNIFI Management portal.

At UNIFI we take security extremely seriously. Your data and all communication to the UNIFI app is encrypted with banking level encryption. UNIFI’s cloud is regularly tested for any breaches and also SSEA audited.

By storing your content in the cloud, UNIFI has the unique ability to upgrade your libraries to new version years of Revit, parse parameter values, deliver content globally no matter where your design teams are located, provide full library backups of your data, share content libraries seamlessly with partner companies, and provide analytics and insights into your content libraries. To put it simply, storing your content in the cloud makes your life a lot easier!

Yes, you can elect to share one of your UNIFI libraries with any partner or other company that is also using UNIFI. You can initiate a library share from the UNIFI Management portal.

We offer a per active person license structure where you can purchase the amount of licenses for anticipated active users based upon the number of people expected to need access to UNIFI.  An active person is someone who logs into the UNIFI system during a 30 day period to access, view, or insert content. If more people need to use UNIFI, don’t worry – we won’t shut them out.  Instead, we will review active users during the month and if you go over the amount you purchased, we will “true” up your number of users to that higher amount.

Yes, you have full control over what users or user groups have access to your libraries. UNIFI’s flexible user access controls provide you the ability to easily customize team access to content. Integration with your existing Microsoft Active Directory system – or other SSO providers – can even automate user control to match your firms existing security policies.

UNIFI customers do not need any IT additional resources to implement UNIFI.  Once your content is loaded into UNIFI,  we take care of the rest. Customers can request monthly backups and we send them out via our FTP Egnyte. The only time your IT staff needs to be involved is opening the firewall outbound to UNIFI and when applicable, implementing Single Sign On to ensure the settings are correct & deploying the admin installer.

The UNIFI Create team rapidly develops custom BIM content on demand. Content requests are made directly by users through the UNIFI platform and you are able to track the progress of the content creation from inception to delivery.

UNIFI updated our system to require TLS 1.2 as part of the UNIFI 3.4.0 software release on September 30, 2019.  This change was made to ensure secure data communication for all our customers.

This Microsoft Article outlines the process for updating Windows 7 SP1 to enable TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 as default secure protocols.  The section titled “Enable TLS 1.1 and 1.2 on Windows 7 at the SChannel component level” details the changes required to enable TLS 1.2 communication for our application.
